Books
The arch+ is an editorial collection of photographic essays about built architecture.
Each volume in the collection focuses on a specific project, seen not as an isolated object but as an inhabited place, shaped by time, use, and experience. Photography is used as a tool of interpretation, favoring immersive and an author view of architecture.
This collection distances itself from technical monographs and exhaustive documentary records. The books in the series propose a sensitive reading of architecture, exploring the relationship between space, materiality, light, and human presence through a carefully constructed visual narrative.
The collection positions itself as a field of photographic investigation dedicated to architecture as built and lived reality, maintaining a consistent formal identity across its volume

independent books and collaborative publications
Alongside its defined collections, Aaltro also publishes singular books that do not belong to a specific series. These projects emerge from particular artistic, editorial or collaborative contexts and are approached individually, allowing greater formal and conceptual freedom.
Some originate from independent artistic work; others from collaborations with architects, cultural institutions, organisations or companies interested in developing a book as a thoughtful and carefully edited object.
In all cases, the same editorial principles apply: clarity of concept, strong visual authorship and attention to the book as a physical and cultural artefact.
chrōma
exploring architecture through a curatorial lens
chrōma is an editorial collection that explores architecture from a specific conceptual perspective.
Each volume brings together multiple works organised around a shared conceptual axis, allowing different projects to be read in relation to one another.
Rather than focusing on a single building, chrōma operates through comparison and resonance. The selected works form a constellation where recurring ideas, strategies or spatial attitudes emerge across different contexts.
Through this structure, each book proposes a specific way of reading architecture — revealing variations, continuities and unexpected connections between works.
